They exchanged views on a wide range of issues. Director Yoon said, "This year marks the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea. Let's work closely together to strengthen cooperation in the consular field."
"We hope that people-to-people exchanges between the two countries will be further invigorated this year," said a Foreign Ministry official. "The two countries have agreed to hold the next consular conference in Tokyo at an appropriate time."
