Court rejects President Yoon's request for arrest suitability review... ”There is no problem with the warrant” = South Korea

The Seoul Central District Court in South Korea has rejected the request by President Yoon Seok-yeol for an "arrest suitability review." An arrest suitability review is a trial to determine whether an arrest made by an investigative agency is legal.
President Yoon's side explained about the arrest warrant for about two hours, saying, "The High-Ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency does not have the power to investigate."
On the morning of the 16th, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed President Yoon's request for a review of the suitability of his arrest. The court said that there was no justification for the request.
Following President Yoon's arrest on the 15th, his side requested a review of the suitability of his arrest at the Seoul Central District Court on the morning of the 16th.
"The Public Prosecutors' Office, which does not have the authority to investigate treason, violated its exclusive jurisdiction and filed a lawsuit against the Seoul Western District Court.
The gist of the case was that the request for and issuance of a warrant was illegal. When a request for an arrest suitability review is made, the court must question the suspect within 48 hours, examine the investigation records and evidence, and make a decision.
The Seoul Central District Court began its review of whether or not to arrest him at 5 pm on the 16th and finished at around 7:04 pm.
President Yoon did not attend the event in person, but his lawyer did.
They argued that the request and issuance of the arrest warrant was improper.
