Rapper Yoon Byung-ho appeals for ”drug use in detention center during trial” but has his appeal dismissed
He was sentenced to seven years in prison for drug use, but was given a suspended sentence for using drugs again while incarcerated.

The National Defense Commission (Kim Eun-kyo) sentenced Yoon Byung-ho, who was indicted on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Law (directing drug use), to two years in prison. He also sentenced him to 40 hours of drug-related crime recidivism prevention lectures.
Previously, Yoon Byung-ho's side had said that while he was incarcerated, they had witnessed him inhaling drugs using the so-called "Caulking" method, which involves powdering drugs and inhaling them through the nose.
He argued that the testimony of the witnesses was inconsistent and unreliable, but the court did not accept this.
Yoon Byung-ho was arrested in Incheon Detention Center in August 2022 for using drugs containing Zolpidem.
He was charged with using psychotropic drugs in an unspecified manner, including methamphetamine, in July 2022 at his home. He is already serving time in prison for another drug-related offense.
He was charged with drug trafficking and subsequently sentenced to four years in prison. He was also charged with drug trafficking between November 2029 and April 2020 and subsequently sentenced to two years and six months in prison.
In the appeals court where the two cases were consolidated, the court sentenced him to seven years in prison last year and ordered him to complete 40 hours of drug rehabilitation education programs. Yoon Byung-ho is appealing the appeals court ruling.
Yoon Byung-ho is a rapper who gained fame by appearing in seasons 1 and 2 of Mnet's "High School Rapper."
