Chances of Silk Road founder being pardoned rises to 79% after Trump takes office, prediction platform says

A prediction platform has found that the chances of the Silk Road founder being pardoned are close to 80%.
The Kalshi prediction market rates the chances of President Trump pardoning Ross Ulbricht within his first 100 days in office at 79%.
Trump promised to free Ulbricht during his speech at the Freedom Caucus on May 25. He said, "If you elect me, on my first day in office, I will commute Ross Ulbricht's sentence and free all of the people he has already served.
"We're going to send him home," Trump said at a Bitcoin conference in July.
Ulbricht's release has become an important advocacy issue in the cryptocurrency community, especially among Bitcoin supporters who share liberal values.
"I'm extremely grateful to everyone who voted for President Donald Trump on my behalf," Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht wrote in a post on X last November.
