GOT7 announces transfer of JYP trademark rights... ”We are very grateful that we are keeping the former member as is”

Idol group GOT7 showed their gratitude to their former agency JYP.

On the 20th, 1theK's original YouTube channel posted a video titled ‘The big turnaround of “GOT7” who moved their agency to Kakao on Kakao Taxi’.

The guests of the day were ‘GOT7’, who made a comeback with their complete bodies. They each had time to read about themselves as described in Online - Wikipedia. When the story about their former agency JYP Entertainment came up, the members said, "We feel deeply connected to JYP when we think that it is where we were born. Thank you for making us."

The page also stated, "In May 2022, JYP transferred the trademark rights of GOT7 including the unit to the members. The leader JAY B contacted the members, went to get the necessary documents and stamps, got them to sign and completed the procedure for the transfer of trademark rights."

In relation to this, JAY B drew attention by saying, "If we didn't want to actually transfer the trademark rights, we could have raised the amount very high, but instead we felt very grateful that they talked to us and transferred the rights without changing the principal amount."

Meanwhile, GOT7, which celebrated its 11th anniversary this year, released its first full-length album in three years on the same day. All members participated in writing, composing and producing the album, which contains nine tracks, including the title track ‘PYTHON’ and the fan song ‘Yours Truly,’.
