”BTS” V reaches his goal weight of 86kg and counts down to discharge... ”There's not much left”

Global group BTS V greeted the Lunar New Year before his discharge.

On the 26th January, V posted on the fan community Weverse, "Are you having a good time during the holidays? It's a long holiday weekend, so I hope you're having a good time!" He greeted his fans.

V then said, "I've been doing nothing but exercising in my unit for a long time! I don't have much left! I can't wait to see you," hinting at his discharge from the military and return to activities, raising fans’ expectations.

When a fan asked, "Have you reached your goal weight?" V replied, "I've achieved it and I'm coming back!" V replied. "I really missed you! Happy New Year to you too, Taehyung. Have a happy holiday. I can't wait to see you. I love you" to which a fan replied "Yes! I love you too."

V was accepted into the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Capital Defence Command and entered active service in December 2023. He was deployed to his own unit after undergoing additional training at the Army General Administration School and is currently serving exemplarily in the Command Directly-Appointed Military Police Corps Special Duty Unit in the 2nd Army Corps of the Kangwon (Gangwon Province) Chuncheon Location Army.

At a live concert held before his enlistment, V promised to improve his physical fitness and bulk up in front of his fans, saying that he would increase his weight to 86 kg. With just over four months to go until his discharge from the military on 10 June, V's happy news has been attracting a lot of attention from fans.

Meanwhile, all members of BTS, to which V belongs, are currently performing their military duties, with the exception of JIN and J-HOPE, who are currently communicating in various fields, including the web variety show ‘Run Seokjin’; J-HOPE will start their first world tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ from the 28th February.
