Charismatic Korean lecturer: ”President Yoon will return to his duties soon”... ”I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize together with Trump”

Jeong Han-gil, a charismatic Korean history lecturer, said in a video celebrating the inauguration of US President Donald Trump, "President Yoon Seok-yeol will be the first to take office in the near future.
On the 27th, Chung released a video titled "Letter to President Trump" on her YouTube channel.
The video appears to be a recording of a speech given at an anti-impeachment rally against President Yoon held in Seoul on the 25th.
"I would like to congratulate President Yoon on his inauguration as the 47th president of the Republic of Korea," Chung said in the video.
"The United States and all of its citizens love America, we love the U.S. military in Korea who are protecting our peace, and we support President Trump," he said.
He continued, "For the past 70 years, the Republic of Korea and the United States have maintained a strong relationship of trust as closest allies amid mutual friendship and cooperation through military alliance and economic cooperation.
"As President Trump is aware, unfortunately, the president of the Republic of Korea is currently under impeachment and investigation on charges of treason, following unilateral attacks by the opposition party," Chung said.
"On Inauguration Day, President Trump and my president should have been seated closest to each other to celebrate the inauguration, but that wasn't possible," he said.
He continued, "President Trump, the people of the Republic of Korea have a wise and mature democratic consciousness, so they will overcome the current impeachment political situation without any problems.
"I would ask everyone to wait a little longer. President Yoon's approval rating is currently over 50 percent, and if the impeachment case is dismissed in the near future, the president will likely return to his duties," Chung said.
"If he does return, I hope the two leaders will meet as soon as possible and find a forum to cooperate for peace in inter-Korean relations and for peace in Northeast Asia and the world," he said.
Chung added, "I hope and pray that I will continue to contribute to world peace through mutual cooperation and that I will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize alongside President Yoon during my term in office."
