As of 10 p.m. the previous day, 21 flights had been canceled and 56 sea routes and 70 passenger ship operations, including between Yeosu and Geomundo and Incheon and Baengnyeong Island, had been suspended.
At around 9:03 pm on the previous day, a 12-vehicle pileup occurred on the Pyeongtaek Expressway in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The collision occurred due to slippery snow, and two people sustained minor injuries.
Traffic restrictions were also imposed. Local road 302 in Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province, was restricted from 11 pm the previous day and was lifted at 9 am on the same day.
