The South Korean government announced on the 28th that all passengers on board an Air Busan passenger plane that caught fire on the runway at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, southeastern South Korea, had safely escaped.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea, the Air Busan plane was scheduled to depart from the runway at Gimhae Airport at around 10:15 p.m. on the same day.
A fire reportedly broke out in the rear of flight ABL391 (Busan-Hong Kong, HL7763, A321).

"We have set up a regional accident response headquarters at the scene, led by the head of the Busan Regional Aviation Administration. We are doing our best to respond to the fire," the agency explained.
