[SBS Entertainment Awards] Yu Jae Suk holds up the trophy, ”20th grand prize in 20 years...I did it”

Yu Jae Suk, a talent who has demonstrated such a unique presence in the broadcasting industry that people even started saying that the grand prize would go to Yu Jae Suk, won her 20th grand prize.
At the 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards, which was broadcast live on the 29th, Yu Jae Suk of "Running Man" and "If I Have Time" won the grand prize.
On that day, Yu Jae Suk said, "As some of you may know, receiving this award marks my 20th grand prize," and added, "I never expected this day to come."
Yu Jae Suk said, "I received the grand prize in 2005, so it means a lot to me that I'm receiving the 20th grand prize in the 20th year," and added, "I'm going to be the longest-running variety show this year.
"I was able to come to this concert thanks to the support of many people. I don't know how to express my gratitude to the many people who loved me for my song 'Running Man.'"
Yu Jae Suk expressed his gratitude to the show for making him a part of the SBS variety show. He said, "I started working on SBS's Sunday variety show in 2004, and have been involved in shows such as 'X-Man,' 'Family Coming,' and 'Running Man.'
I've been doing this for about 22 years. I think it was only possible because so many people were with me," he said, "As I said a little bit, the variety show environment is getting tougher and tougher.
Not all parts of the broadcasting industry are as prosperous as they used to be. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the many people in the broadcasting industry who are doing their best in this situation and working hard to fill the gaps.
I want to say thank you for your hard work over the past four years. In 2025, I will do my best to bring laughter to everyone."
Yu Jae Suk then raised the trophy and said, "I finally accomplished it."
The 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards was scheduled to be broadcast live on the 31st of last month, but was canceled to commemorate the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
