If a request is made to verify the facts based on the suicide note that was allegedly found, MBC is ready to begin an investigation into the matter as quickly as possible."
In response, the family said, "We will not be asking MBC to reveal the facts," and "We want them to investigate the matter themselves and broadcast a sincere apology."
Meanwhile, the deceased, a former idol trainee, made a name for herself by winning the 5th place in the Chunhyang contest in 2019. In 2021, she was selected as MBC's open recruitment weather anchor.
