「日本じゃなくて韓国?」…リアルドールとデート楽しむ男性
”Is it Korea instead of Japan?” A man enjoys a date with a real doll
A viral post about a man enjoying a date at an amusement park, Gyeongju World, in Gyeongju, South Korea, with a real doll (a doll made to look very similar to a human) has become a hot topic.
On the 29th of this month, a viral video of a man named A on a date with a real doll was posted on a review page for Gyeongju World on the portal site's map app.
Mr. A took photos and videos of himself riding a rotating vehicle with a real doll, and wrote, "Rem (the doll) and Gyeongju World Delight.
"I couldn't ride all the rides because it was winter, but I was glad I could ride all the rides, including the Cragen, the Magic Bike, the air balloons, and the bumper cars," he said.
"It's a Gyeongju world that brings back childhood memories," he wrote in a positive review. A also wrote, "Everyone, please spend time with your loved ones, dolls, and lovers," and "Please enjoy it in the warm season.
I want to go there again. The round-trip transportation fee of 300,000 won (about 32,000 yen) was worth it. It's the best," he added. In the photo posted by Mr. A, a real doll with blue hair and a brown coat was seen.
The photo showed A riding an attraction. Several online communities also shared reports of people seeing A in Gyeongju. One netizen wrote,
He encountered Mr. A on a train platform at Busan Station and posted a video of him moving around with a real doll in a wheelchair.
The internet user who posted the video commented, "I thought she looked really cold because she was exposing her legs in the cold.
"..." he said, revealing that he had mistaken the doll for a human. Meanwhile, the Korean Customs Service had not allowed the Real Doll to pass through customs due to the issue of beauty and good morals.
Following the court's order to allow imports, half-body real dolls with adult figures were allowed to pass through customs from June 2022. Full-body dolls were also allowed in December of the same year. However, dolls that are minors or have the shape of a specific person cannot be allowed to pass through customs.
The import of aldols is still prohibited. In 2022, 527 cases of real dolls were allowed to be imported, 721 in 2023, and 212 by August 2024.
Customs clearance was granted.
