”BTS” RM shares his latest update on promotion to ”corporal”: ”Are you a complete old man?”... Next rank is ”civilian”

RM, a member of the group BTS, who is currently serving in the military, has been promoted to corporal. On the 1st, RM announced on his Instagram story that he had been promoted to corporal.
In the photo, RM is seen taking a selfie in his military uniform. His slightly longer hair and his dashing military uniform are drawing the attention of fans.
RM also shared his thoughts on the fan community Weverse with four months to go until Discharge.
"My dear friends," he began, "No matter what you do,
I don't know if I'm 32 in Korean years. I'm 30 in Korean years. When I see myself, I realize I'm already an old man," Woogi said jokingly.
He continued, "Happy New Year," and added, "I forgot to say hello at the beginning of the year, so I, Kim Nam Jun (RM's real name), have finally become a sergeant.
Since they were all promoted early, I think all four of them are probably corporals by now. It's an emotional moment, but their military life is just beginning.
I am still very happy that the next rank is a civilian."
RM added, "The year 2024 has been an overwhelming year in many ways.
I think that for better or worse, it will remain in my memory for a long time." Looking back, he asked, "How was it for you all?
But even so, when I see the two members coming out and working hard, I feel envious and happy.
"Civilians are the best," he said, referring to JIN and J-HOPE, who were previously active in discharge.
Finally, RM said, "Once I return to being a civilian, Kim Nam Jun, there are so many things I want to say. Even if it's difficult to say things now, I think someday I'll be able to say them in my own way."

On weekends, I listen to music, watch movies, study, and then get ready to go home.

BTS, the group RM belongs to, plans to continue activities as a full group after all members have completed their military service.
Four members will enlist in the military in December 2023, with RM and V scheduled to be discharged on June 10th, and JIMIN and JUNG KOOK the following day on the 11th.
