When Hua Qingge found out that Ji Wan'er and Ji Chu had a good relationship in the past, she didn't know what to say to Ji Wan'er.
Hua Qingge notices that Ji Chu has begun to investigate the incident that occurred 15 years ago involving his late mother, Empress Xian. Ji Chu has him gather old documents, but there are too many, so he makes Hua Qingge help him carry them.
When Lin Xiyao finds out that Hua Qingge is being bullied by Ji Chu, she rushes to Hua Qingge's former. Hua Qingge, realizing that Ji Chu is bullying her, hands over all of the documents.
Instead, she decided to choose something important and deliver it to Ji Chu's former. Ji Chu was surprised to see that Hua Qingge knew everything about her after reading the documents that were sent to her former.
Hua Qing Ge, unable to explain the reason, offered to tell him if he promised not to kill her for a month. Ji Chu readily accepted the condition. Only seven days had passed since the promise.
Even though she was not there, Ji Chu was already feeling that he had reached his limit of patience with Hua Qingge's attitude.
