All crew members on board a Jeju-registered fishing boat that capsized off the coast of Taiwan have been safely rescued. According to the Jeju Maritime Police Station and the Jeju Fire and Safety Headquarters on the 3rd, at around 10:12 pm on the same day,
A report was received that the Yongseong fishing vessel A (48 tons), which had set sail from Seongsan, Jeju, had capsized off the coast of Taiwan, 833 km south of Seogwipo.
There were 10 people on board, including four Koreans and six foreigners, and all were rescued by a fishing boat operating nearby.
The ship is reportedly in good condition. The ship is currently said to be submerged. The Coast Guard has deployed two 3,000-ton patrol vessels and a 1,000-ton patrol ship to the scene to deal with the accident.
One ship was dispatched.
