The hearing before Chief Judge Le will see the first hearing of the lawsuit filed by ADOR against members of NewJeans to confirm the validity of their exclusive contract.
On November 28th of last year, NewJeans held an emergency press conference regarding the termination of its exclusive contract with ADOR, stating, "The contract with ADOR ended at midnight on the 29th."
"We will release the contract. The mistake lies with HYBE and ADOR, so there is no reason for them to sue, and there is no reason for us to pay any penalty fees," they said, and are acting independently.
In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit against NewJeans to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, and NewJeans attempted to contact the advertiser on its own.
In response, the members said, "We want to clarify ADOR and HYBE's mistakes and let the truth be known.
After their scheduled activities with ADOR were over, NewJeans even publicly solicited a new name for their group.
In addition, the parents of the five NewJeans members opened social media accounts and said, "Unfortunately, due to the pending lawsuit, HYBE and ADOR have reunited as members.
"I was informed that they were distributing rumours to various journalists in order to spread false articles targeting the public, and in response, I decided to create this account," the member said.
The company said it created the document to clarify matters that are difficult for the bar staff to discuss directly. Attention is focused on how the long battle between NewJeans and ADOR will turn out.
