The Winklevoss brothers are reportedly considering the possibility of pursuing an IPO again.
On the 6th (local time), Bloomberg, citing anonymous sources, said Gemini was moving forward with an IPO this year.
The report said the company is discussing how to improve its operations and is in talks with potential advisory firms to do so. However, the discussions are still ongoing and no final decision has been made. Gemini said in a statement on Tuesday that it was considering a deal with the U.S.
The company considered going public in 2021, but ultimately did not go ahead with the listing. In January 2021, the Wink Lubos brothers said, "We are closely monitoring the market and are considering whether an IPO is appropriate at this time.
"We are having internal discussions. We are clearly open to an IPO," he said.
