It was revealed that the person who first discovered the scene where an elementary school girl was murdered in Seo-gu, Daejeon, was the girl's grandmother.

At around 5 p.m. on the 10th, the grandmother heard from her son that A-chan had gone missing, and went to look for her. The grandmother said, "My grandson had gone missing after finishing school.
"I heard that my grandson, who was supposed to go to cram school after school, had gone missing, so I went looking for him," he said.
At the time, A-chan's father tracked A-chan's location using a location app, but the location displayed on the app was her school. The father immediately reported her missing to the police, and then his grandmother
The grandmother said, "I went into the audiovisual room next to the Dolbeom classroom to look for my granddaughter," and added, "I even tried to search the storage room inside the audiovisual room, but it was very dark.
"I turned on the light on my cell phone and saw the woman's bloodstained face," he said. A-chan's bag was placed under the woman's head.
The next moment, my grandmother had an intuition that something had happened and reported the situation to the police.
During this time, the woman locked the door, and when the police arrived at the scene, they kicked the door open. Then, the ambulance took A-chan and the woman to the hospital.
A-chan, who had sustained stab wounds to her hands and feet, was rushed to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest and later passed away.
The woman found collapsed with A-chan was teacher B of the school. Teacher B was taken to the hospital unconscious, but his life is not in danger.
Before undergoing surgery at the hospital, teacher B reportedly admitted to the police that he was responsible for the crime. Police plan to investigate the motive and circumstances of the crime once teacher B has recovered.
The teacher was reportedly a second-grade homeroom teacher.
