"We will inform you of the progress of legal action against malicious posts and comments that cause harm, insults, and sexual harassment," the company said. "We are taking appropriate measures based on the information provided by our fans and our own models.
Through monitoring, we have collected evidence of malicious posts and comments against "aespa." Based on this, we are suspected of insults, defamation, and the editing and dissemination of false videos.
"A number of the defendants have been identified and investigations are underway, and some have been referred to the prosecution and will receive court dispositions, as detailed below.
We will continue to take strong action and measures against those who upload malicious posts, videos, images, etc. to AESPA, both in Korea and overseas.
"We will continue to do our best to protect the rights of our artists," the company added.
