Singer Chungha has donated 50 million won to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation. On the 9th, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, a child welfare organization, held a charity event to celebrate Chungha's birthday.
In celebration, the group made a donation in the name of their fan club "HARRT" to support medical expenses for children from low-income families and feminine hygiene products for children and adolescents.
Cheorok Woosan will donate 50 million won from CHUNGHA to low-income families across the country who are struggling with high medical costs.
The donations will be used to cover surgery and rehabilitation costs for children, and to purchase feminine hygiene products for children and adolescents. CHUNGHA is a member of the Green Noble Foundation, a group of large donors to Chorok Woosan.
In 2019, he donated 50 million won for children's medical expenses, and in 2020, he supported low-income children facing financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 virus infection and participated in the end-of-year Santa Claus event.
In January of last year, CHUNGHA also held a charity event for low-income children, including face correction surgery for congenital cleft lip and palate, and surgery for knee cancer.
He made this donation in the name of his fan club on his birthday this year, and said, "I hope that children can recover their bodies and minds and grow up healthy, and that women and young people can gain confidence and dignity."
