Crypto assets are mostly rising despite the Consumer Price Index (CPI) beating market expectations and US stock markets dropping across the board except for the Nasdaq.
This is believed to be due to buying at low prices. As of 8 a.m. on the 13th, Bitcoin was up 2.50 on CoinMarketCap, a global coin market relay site, from 24 hours earlier.
Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, surged 6.20% to trade at $2,752.
Ripple rose 2.67% to $2.48 (JPY 382). This puts it back in third place in market capitalization. Recently, Ripple has been falling for days and has been trading at a low for a while.
It remained in 4th place in terms of market capitalization. Not only this, most virtual currencies are rallying, with Dozico soaring 4.52%.
