During an interview with TV personality Do Kyung Soo, DO shared his thoughts on appearing on "Kongkonpabap". On that day, he said, "Personally, I found it very interesting to appear on 'Kongkonpabap'," and "The restaurant was great.
"I knew it was weird, so it was even more fun," he said with a satisfied look on his face. "I always had a dream in the back of my mind to run a restaurant," he said.
"I've always wanted to try it, and running a cafeteria on campus was a really fun experience," he added. DO also said, "If I were to run a cafeteria, I would like to mainly serve Korean food, but also fusion cuisine.
"I want to serve Japanese, Western and Asian food," he said, "I want to focus on Korean food." He also said, "If I were to run the restaurant with Lee Gwangsoo, I would not be in the kitchen.
"I think he'll try not to let me come here," he said, laughing. "I think he'll be in charge of the hall. He'll approach me with a sense of familiarity, so I think everyone will be happy. I think he'll be the best hall manager."
