”What was so painful?” ... ”BTS” costume designer Kim Rieul, Lee Hong-gi (FTISLAND) → Choi Woong Jung and other members of the entertainment industry send condolences

Condolences and remembrances continue to flow for the sad news of the late Hanbok designer Kim Rieul.

　On the 12th February, Lee Hong-gi, a member of the band FTISLAND, wrote on his SNS, "Rieul, what was so very hard for you. I'm coming to see you now’ and posted the sentence, “I hope you'll always spend your time smiling where you can shine more brightly and be happy. RIP”, creating a choking feeling.

　Kim Rieul is a well-known designer who designed and produced the hanbok worn by the group BTS at the time of their performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He ran the hanbok suit brand RIEUL and was also selected by Forbes as one of the 30 most influential people under 30 in Asia last year.

　However, sad news of his sudden death was reported. The deceased was found dead in a flat in Namwon, Chollapuk (North Jeolla Province), at around 9pm on the 11th. He was 32 years old. A coffin was laid in state today (13th Feb) and he passed into eternal rest.

　Mourning continues from the fashion and entertainment industry. Singer Choi Eun Jung also expressed her grief. On the 13th, she wrote on SNS "Rieul, I should have said it was the New Year and called you to let you know that I was safe. I should have bought you a drink and listened to you complain. I'm sorry, I feel so much pain."

　She continued "I don't know the deeper circumstances, but please, I hope it gets easier there."
