The US state of Wyoming is considering Avalanche (AVAX) and SUI (SUI) as the blockchain for its own stablecoin.
If the committee can get approval, it plans to conduct tests on the issuance and distribution of stable coins at the end of next month.
The company has shortlisted Avalanche and SUI as the network of choice for the blockchain. Blockchain company Layer Zero Labs and custody company FireBlocks have also been selected as candidates.
The cryptocurrency media Cointelegraph said, "Even if a stablecoin is issued on a specific blockchain, it will not be possible to issue a multi-chain stablecoin in the future.
Anthony Apollo, a member of the Wyoming Stablecoin Committee, said, "We will select a blockchain at the end of this month and launch our own stablecoin at the end of next month.
"We will begin testing the coin," said Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, who announced last year that he would be issuing his own dollar-based stablecoin.
