故オ・ヨアンナさんの遺族、日記帳を公開...「グループトークで絶え間なく私に暴言を」
Family of late Oh Yohanna releases diary... ”She constantly hurls abusive language at me in group chats”
The family of the late MBC weather anchor Oh Yo-anna has released the contents of her diary, which contains the painful feelings she suffered at the time, in connection with her claims that she was a victim of workplace bullying.
According to a report by Channel A on the 18th, the individual wrote in his diary in February 2023, "My seniors collected all the mistakes I made and submitted them to my superiors, and constantly abused me in group chats.
"I was so hurt by you guys calling me no good that rather than studying and practicing I started drinking alcohol to avoid it," she wrote.
In addition, two days before writing this diary, the late Oh Yo-han met with MBC to discuss contract renewal.
The late Oh Yo-han said at the time, "I was very rude, but I was unable to apologize properly and I was in the middle of apologizing multiple times.
She is known to have confided, "There was a lot of friction," and "I must have done something to make him feel bad, but instead of being humble, I ended up making him even angrier."
An MBC official who heard about this at the time is said to have advised the late Oh Yo-han to "resolve it internally."
So we reporters can't always put on a happy face either," he said, adding, "Internally, relationships between seniors and juniors need to be resolved in an appropriate manner."
In relation to this, the family stated to Channel A that the source was an MBC official who is known to the public as the person to whom the deceased had confided his pain.
The agency revealed that she was a different person from the four. Prior to this, the late Oh Yohan passed away in September last year at the age of 28. The circumstances surrounding her death were revealed to be three months later, on December 10th of last year.
The news was released on the same day, and it was revealed that she had been a victim of workplace bullying during the process, which caused a shock. When the facts related to her death were revealed later, there were 17 photos and videos on her smartphone.
A suicide note detailing the victim's experiences of workplace bullying was discovered, making the damage to her name public. In December of last year, the victim's family filed a civil lawsuit in the Seoul Central District Court against the colleagues believed to be the perpetrators of workplace bullying.
Meanwhile, MBC has formed a fact-finding committee chaired by an outside expert in relation to the allegations and has begun an official investigation.
