It is a revenge story that puts the life of Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung Sik) at risk after hacking into the secret funds of the government. The destructive duo of Park Hyung Sik and Heo Junho (Yeom Jang-seon) has been a hot topic even before the show aired.
So what do the production team of "Buried Hearts" think about Park Hyung Sik and Heo Junho? They matched well with the characters they had in mind.
We spoke to writer Lee Myung-hee and director Jin Chang-kyu of "Buried Heart" directly. First, writer Lee Myung-hee talked about when she first heard the news about the casting of the two actors.
"I was so happy that I wanted to give them both a piggyback ride. I'm sure that Park Hyung Sik will be able to play the main character Seo Dong Joo well with his excellent acting skills and sensitivity. I'm also sure that Heo Junho will be able to play the main character Seo Dong Joo well.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how well the villain character of Moo Jang-sung will be portrayed," he said, adding, "I ask that viewers look forward to it."
Director Jin Chang-kyu said, "Park Hyung-sik exudes a masculine and mature beauty that we have never seen before.
In fact, there were many difficult processes, such as going to a remote sea to film and a water torture scene, but it was amazing how he always showed concentration on set. I think he is a very strong person, both physically and mentally.
" He also said, "He is a sharp but smart actor who always thinks about the details of his acting. I often had the experience of coming up with new ideas when discussing a scene with Park Hyung Sik."
Director Jin Chang-kyu added, "Heo Junho is someone who exudes aura just by being there. This time too, he made the rare villain Yum Jang-yum his own.
He was able to create a character with a delicate yet realistic feel as he struggled over every word he said. I felt he was an actor with great concentration and flexibility. He led the atmosphere on set and kept things bright.
He was so kind to me, that we were able to work in a fun atmosphere throughout the filming period," he said, expressing his gratitude along with his respect and admiration for Heo Junho.
