US SEC approves WisdomTree XRP ETF proposal… Requests public comments

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved WisdomTree's proposal for the XRP Fund to be listed and traded on an exchange.
On the 19th (local time), the SEC disclosed in a document that BZX (CBOE), a subsidiary of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE),
BZXExchange has approved the listing and trading of the WisdomTree XRP Fund proposed by the company.
In recent days, the SEC has filed suit against Bitwise, CoinShares and Grayscale.
The SEC has accepted multiple XRP ETF proposals, including from Yahoo! Auctions and Yahoo! Commerce. The SEC is seeking public comment to determine how to move forward with the XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) proposal.
The SEC will allow 21 days for public comment, after which a notice in the Federal Register will be published. The SEC can then approve, reject, or begin a proceeding on the proposal.
