<Question and Answer Interview> 1st anniversary of debut ”NCT WISH”, ”Thanks to CZN, I can expand my dreams... I'm truly grateful”

On February 21st, the boy group NCT WISH, which has emerged as the best rookie of 2024, revealed their thoughts on celebrating their first anniversary since their debut.
"NCT" took the first step towards their exciting debut at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
WISH is a group that aims to support the hopes and dreams of all people through music and love, and to achieve them together with the listeners.

Q. It's been one year since your debut. How do you feel? Xion: I can't believe a year has already passed, time has flown so quickly.
Based on last year's experience, I think we can have more fun this year and deliver better music, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Riku: To all the CZNs (NCTzens, the name for NCT fans) who have loved us for the past year.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many people who helped me. I hope to continue making many fun and happy memories with the members and all of CIZENNY. I will continue to work hard in 2025.
Yuushi: I'm very happy and excited to be celebrating our first anniversary. From now on, I'll be working with the members and Cizny.
I'm looking forward to the new things we'll be making. I'll be working happily this year too.
JaeHee: This past year has been a time of learning and experiencing many new things. I will continue to learn more and work hard to grow as an artist who can deliver a wide variety of music.
Ryo: It was a year in which we experienced so much that it felt both short and long. Above all, I'm grateful to CZ for making this a happy year for me, and I hope to grow even more with this wonderful activity this year.
Sakuya: 2024 was a year filled with so much learning and joy. It was such an important time for us, and we want to use that experience to do even more this year.
Q. If you had to pick the most memorable activity or moment since your debut, what would it be?
Xion: Remembering the moment when you first appeared on a music show with your debut song "WISH"
I still vividly remember the atmosphere in the waiting room at dawn, filled with tension and excitement as we prepared for the pre-recording.
Sakuya: I also remember WISH's music program activities. It was my first time appearing on a music program, so everything was new and strange.
However, it seems that the moment was fun and special. Q. In what way do you feel you have grown the most as a group or as an individual over the past year?
JaeHee: I think the images I can show on stage have become more diverse and my friendships with the other members have deepened.
It's meaningful. Personally, I feel like I'm becoming more accepting of direction every time I record, and it makes me happy to see how much I've grown (laughs).
Q. With their energetic performances in the midst of refreshing music, they have earned the reputation of being "NCT is NCT," and at the same time, they have also drawn the pure lineage of SM Entertainment with their pure and fluffy sensibility.

Q. You've been given the nickname "GenZ icon" because of your skillful use of short videos and challenges.
What is the secret to planning and filming content? Yusi: We try to find footage that suits us well, and we also give our opinions on the content we want to try.
I really enjoy the moment we're filming and feel happy, so I think that energy naturally comes out in the video. I think that's why our fans can feel our fun atmosphere and like us.
Sakuya: When I'm shooting, I try to relax and have fun, like I'm hanging out with friends, rather than feeling pressured to "do well."
Our unique natural vibe is just blended into it, and I think a lot of people like that side of us.
Q. You won the title of "Best Newcomer" in 2024.
What is another goal that "NCT WISH" wants to achieve in 2021? Xion: This year, we want to achieve "NCT WISH" through more refined music and activities.
I want to share the beautiful sensibility of "WISH" with many people. I also want to share our unique colors with everyone.
We will do our best to let the public know about it and make this a year where more people can join "NCT WISH". Riku: In 2025, I want to receive more love with good music and activities.
But what I want most of all is to create lots of happy moments with the other members and share precious time with all of you, Chibi. I would be really grateful if we could have more of those moments.
Ryo: I want to grow more and have many wonderful concerts. I want to improve my skills and give the best performance to all of you, so that when it's over, I won't have any regrets.
