Fans of the group NewJeans (NJZ) have launched a signature campaign to petition the court.
The Bunnies (fandom) team submitted a petition in May of last year opposing the dismissal of CEO Min Hee Jin from her position as ADOR.
On the 24th, they revealed that they are preparing a second petition, following the previous one. "This petition is to bring to justice the situation in which HYBE and ADOR are still trying to disrupt 'NJZ.'
The fandom stressed that the purpose of the petition is to accurately inform and explain the situation to the fans. In response, three petitions, including an online petition, a petition created by the fans themselves, and a global petition, were launched.
According to the petition, the fandom said, "HYBE and ADOR have caused pain to the members through media manipulation and counter-viral marketing," and "HYBE and ADOR have caused pain to the members through media manipulation and counter-viral marketing,"
BE (Chairman Bang Si Hyuk) expressed concern, saying, "They have been intentionally discriminating against members, and there is no way this hostile environment will change."
In particular, they are concerned about the “storage” that members will face when provisional injunctions are issued (they are not affiliated with an agency and are not active).
Fans said, "If the application for provisional disposition to protect ADOR's status as a planning company and to prohibit the signing of advertising contracts is cited, it is likely that the company will not be able to continue simply through advertising activities.
It will have a serious impact on all aspects of entertainment, including music, and it is clear that HYBE and ADOR are only dealing with the surface and keeping things to a minimum, and are just storing the members as they are.
"NewJeans" has declared that it has terminated its exclusive contract with ADOR and is currently working independently. Recently, it was announced that the group will change its name from "NewJeans" to "NJZ".
