US SEC Crypto-Asset Task Force considers ”dropping” lawsuits against companies

Speculation continues that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may drop its lawsuit against virtual asset companies.
On the 24th (local time), industry sources said that SEC Virtual Asset Task Force (TF) officials have been meeting with industry leaders recently.
TF also met with well-known “Bitcoin advocate” Michael Saylor, founder of MicroStrategy.
The TF is a departure from the SEC's policy of regarding various virtual assets as "securities."
The agency also said it was considering suspending enforcement actions against virtual asset companies after discussions with industry leaders.
