*This article contains spoilers. tvNTV Series "Because the Stars Are Rumored" EP15 (viewership rating 1.8%) is about the story of Ryong (Lee Mi-young), who has drifted far away between the atmosphere.
The story depicts how Lee Young (Ng Ho) and Eve (Kong Hyo Jin) become the first human beings to successfully conceive in zero gravity in space. After conducting a prohibited experiment in space, Lee Young ends up losing Morla and abandoning the MZ Group.
Not only was he punished, but he was stripped of his medical license, ordered to pay a huge amount of compensation, and given a suspended sentence. Furthermore, he declared that he was breaking up with Eve, who had decided to dispose of Morla, and Ryong was left penniless.
Similarly, Eve, who was relieved of her command, was placed in a situation where she was no longer qualified as a space scientist. However, she had to fix the broken space station.
With the remaining missions, Eve went up to the space station without any time to rest to carry out her final mission. Having experienced so much, she was unable to recover from her fatigue.
While on a mission, her physical condition began to change drastically. Curious, Eve took out a pregnancy test stored in the space station's module and saw clear signs of pregnancy.
She couldn't believe it and even had an ultrasound, which she sent to her obstetrician, Im Sung Jae, who confirmed the pregnancy.
No one has ever become pregnant or given birth in space, and because surgical procedures are not possible in space, the pregnant woman must return to Earth for her safety.
However, after hearing that the fetus may die during the descent to Earth, Eve decides to remain on the space station.
The guilt of having discarded the Morla that Ryong had created still lingered in his heart, so he could not once again choose to kill a new life.
Feeling pressured and scared to have to do something difficult on her own, Eve called the father of her child, Ryong, several times to let him know the truth.
However, in her deep despair, Ryong avoided contacting Eve. As if sensing Eve's anxiety, the baby's heart began to race abnormally fast in her womb, heightening the tension.
