An analysis has revealed that the North Korean hackers behind the Bybit hack used more than 11,000 wallets to launder the stolen funds.
Blockchain data analysis company Elliptic announced the results of their analysis on the 26th (local time). Bybit has been blacklisted to recover stolen funds.
They introduced a wallet API and offered a bounty to trace the funds, but it became clear that North Korean hackers were already in the process of laundering the funds.
Eliptic has published a list of wallet addresses believed to be owned by North Korea.
He revealed that he made this public to prevent the spread of the virus.
