SEC formally dismisses Coinbase lawsuit

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially dropped its lawsuit against cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.
The SEC reportedly dismisses all lawsuits filed against Coinbase
The SEC and Coinbase previously reached an agreement to end their legal dispute on the 21st of last month (local time).
The SEC said it will "continue to work to reform regulation of the virtual asset industry."
In June 2023, the SEC alleged that Coinbase violated securities laws by brokering the sale of virtual assets such as Solana (SOL) and Polygon (POL).
Coinbase has previously criticized the SEC's actions as "excessive regulation."
