Ha Jung Woo, the director and star of the movie ”Lobby,” says, ”You don't need to know golf to enjoy this movie”... Choi Si Won is impressed by his co-star Cha Juyeon's acting
Korean actor Ha Jung Woo returns as a director after 10 years with a confident black comedy genre. The production presentation for the movie "Lobby" was held on the morning of the 4th at Gwangjin (Gyeonggi) Theater in Seoul.
The event was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Jin-gu, and featured director Ha Jung-Woo and actors Kim Eui-Seong, Kang Hyeri-Moo, Lee Dong-Hwi, Park Byung Eun, Choi Si-Won (SUPER
JUNIOR), Cha Juyeon, and Kwak Sun Young participated in the film "Lobby." The film is about Ha Jung Woo, the CEO of a startup company who only knew research, and his quest to save the company from a 4 trillion won national government project.
The story is about a man who plays lobby golf for the first time in his life in order to win a business. Director Ha Jung Woo said, "It's a story about lobby entertainment. My first film, 'Roller Coaster,' is a story about a man who plays a limited flight.
The story was about a person on an airplane, but I think I am drawn to things that happen in a restricted space. I think the space of a golf course is vast, but secret.
"I felt that the idea of it being a space that cannot be seen was interesting in itself. I chose the golf course because I thought it would be a suitable backdrop for the elements of black comedy."
He continued, "It's a movie you can enjoy even if you don't know anything about golf. Whether big or small, official or unofficial, lobbying is something that everyone can enjoy in our lives."
"I think it's a story about people who are living their lives while doing things that they don't understand," he said. "I had some time off as a director. I'm looking back and thinking about what I can do well as a director."
I have been pondering for several years about what I know, feel, and want to see. As this pondering continues, some things become clearer and some become filtered out.
As a director, I thought the way to express myself to the audience was black comedy. The way people gather around a certain incident or event and talk about it with their own desires and thoughts is the most interesting part.
"It was a part I wanted to talk about, and when I decided to direct my third work, I thought it would be good to talk about it in this way."
Kim Eui-seong said, "I have more love and hate than any other character I've ever played.
"He is a character who is with evil. I was worried about whether I could do it well, so I hesitated about appearing in the film. The role was so big, and the weight of the drama was so heavy that I worried about whether I could bear it."
Kang Hyerim said with satisfaction, "I felt very grateful, but when I filmed with them, I was even more moved."
Lee DongHwi said, "Ha Ji
