China road logistics freight index up 2.21% year-on-year in February - Chinese media

On the 5th, the China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced China's road logistics freight index for February. The momentum of economic recovery was relatively good in February. The recovery of demand and supply led to a relatively large supply of transportation capacity after the holidays.
The recovery was relatively fast, with the freight index increasing slightly compared to the same month last year. China's road logistics freight index in February rose 2.21% year-on-year to 104.8 points.
Looking at the indices by vehicle type, all maintained an upward trend compared to the same month last year.
The road freight index rose 2.55% year-on-year to 105.3 points. Overall, the resumption of business after the holidays proceeded smoothly and the supply of transportation capacity recovered relatively quickly, which led to a rise in the road freight index.
The numbers remained at a good level.
