Lawmakers in the US state of Utah have passed a Bitcoin bill but removed a provision that would allow the state treasury to invest in Bitcoin.
On the 7th, the Utah Senate passed HB230, a bill to amend the Blockchain and Digital Innovation Act, with 19 votes.
The bill passed with 7 votes and 3 abstentions. The bill is expected to be signed into law by Utah Governor Spencer Cox.
