The late Whee Sung's management office, Tajo Entertainment, announced the sad news on the 10th.
The agency said, "The individual was found in cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was declared dead." They added, "The family and fellow artists at Tajo Entertainment have expressed their sincere gratitude for the sudden and tragic news.
"All of our directors and employees are mourning the loss of this individual with deepest grief," the company said, adding that it would announce funeral arrangements separately. However, funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
According to the police, no evidence of intrusion or other criminal suspicions have been found to date. The police are currently investigating whether there was a suicide note and the specific circumstances of the death.
The deceased, Whee Sung, will be held at the Daegu Expo Hall on the 15th.
The "Whee Sung x KCM Concert in Daegu" was scheduled to take place, but it is now unclear whether it will go ahead.
