Late singer Wh Sung's funeral arrangements put on hold... Korea requests for autopsy from forensic laboratory

South Korean singer Whee Sung (aged 43) suddenly passed away on the 10th. The National Forensic Service will be asked to perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Funeral arrangements will be postponed for a while.
The case is expected to be put on hold. The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul has requested the National Forensic Service to carry out an autopsy and analyze Whee Sung's cell phone to determine the specific cause of her death.
The police have not found any signs of intrusion or other criminal suspicions so far, and are currently investigating whether there was a suicide note and the specific circumstances of the death.
According to the police and management office, Whee Sung was found in cardiac arrest at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, at around 6:29 pm on the 10th.
Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from Whee Sung's mother, and although they performed first aid including CPR, Whee Sung eventually went into cardiac arrest and died.
The management office stated, "The sudden news of his passing has left the family, fellow artists, and staff members grieving the loss with deep sorrow," and "We would like to express our deepest sympathy to Whee Sung."
