IU has chosen MBC's new TV series "The King's Wife (working title)" as her next project. "The King's Wife" is a comic action detective drama that takes on the world of the 21st century.
The story depicts a romance that transcends social status between a woman who is annoyed at being a commoner despite being a member of a wealthy family that has everything in the constitutional monarchy of the Republic of Korea, and a man who is the son of a king but is sad because he has nothing.
IU will be acting alongside Byeon WooSeok.
