「BLACKPINK」JENNIE、ソロステージはカッコよくても…
BLACKPINK's JENNIE's solo stage is cool, but... the performance is only 70 minutes long and tickets cost over 20,000 yen... mixed reviews
JENNIE (BLACKPINK) gave a spectacular one-woman performance. It was so cool that it was a crime to be very good, but the performance was met with controversy.

On the 15th, at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, JENNIE held ‘The Ruby Experience’ show to celebrate the release of her first full solo album ‘Ruby’. This is the first solo concert JENNIE has held since her debut.

JENNIE performed 15 songs from her first solo full album at this concert, which was conducted in a showcase format where she performed all 15 songs on stage, giving the audience a full sense of who she is as a solo artist. The members of BLACKPINK, Korean girl group NewJeans (NJZ), TV personality Yoo Jae Suk and other stars of the entertainment industry came to watch the performance.

However, controversy arose over JENNIE's performance time. She started her performance 10 minutes late and finished it in just 70 minutes, barely over an hour.

JENNIE concentrated on showing 15 songs on stage. The opening and second half of the show was all the time she had to communicate with the audience. As the saying goes, she was concentrating on ‘showcasing’.

The concert cost 220,000 won (approx. $150) for the most expensive seats. The cheapest seats were in the 140,000 won (approx. $95) range, and although the concert lasted for more than two to three hours, JENNIE finished the performance in 70 minutes. It was even pointed out that even if the performance was short, it was too short.

The majority of the respondents said that the price of JENNIE's performance was too high compared to the performance time, and that there was not enough time to communicate with the artists.
