According to White House disclosure documents, David Sachs held more than $200 million in Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and other cryptocurrencies.
He also held and then sold shares in crypto-asset-related companies, including the crypto-asset exchange Coinbase and the investment platform Robin Hood.
David Sachs only owns $85,000 of his own assets, with the rest going to his own venture capital firm, Craft Ventures.
It is believed that he disposed of all of his virtual asset-related assets before entering the White House to avoid conflicts of interest as the head of virtual asset and AI policy.
