韓国「マムズタッチ」が「原宿」に2号店をオープン…年内「30店舗」が目標
South Korean ”Mom's Touch” opens second store in ”Harajuku”... Aiming for ”30 stores” by the end of the year
Korean hamburger and chicken brand "Mom's Touch" announced on the 17th that it will be opening a store in Harajuku, Tokyo in the first half of this year.
This "Harajuku Mom's Touch" is the second store following the first store "Shibuya Mom's Touch" which opened in April last year, and is a large-scale store located on Takeshita Street with 550 square meters and about 300 seats.
This is the sales floor. After operating a pop-up store in October 2023, Mom's Touch opened its first directly managed store in Shibuya in April last year.
By December of last year, the total number of visitors to "Shibuya Mom's Touch" had exceeded 500,000, an average of 2,000 per day.
This means that the number of customers who visited the store reached 64 million yen per month. Mom's Touch's Japanese subsidiary, Mom's Touch Tokyo, signed its first corporate affiliation contract with a local Japanese company in January.
Since signing the agreement, the company has been in discussions with multiple companies to sign franchise contracts. This year, it is considering opening franchise stores in core commercial areas of Tokyo, such as Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, and is aiming to open 100 stores by the end of the year.
The company's goal is to have 30 franchisees, and it plans to open a franchise store in the Odaiba shopping mall early next year.
A Mom's Touch representative said, "Over the past year, we have seen a repeat customer rate of over 90% through the operation of our first store.
"We have confirmed the enthusiastic response of local consumers, with many customers recording record highs," he said. "This time, we are bringing the brand's largest scale to Harajuku, known as the mecca for the MZ generation (Millennials and Z generations, born in the 1980s to 2000s).
"We decided to unveil a replica sales area," he said.
