The Democratic Party of Korea files charges against Ahn Cheol-soo... Ahn should ”be ashamed” - Korean media

People Power Party lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo recently criticized the Democratic Party for indicting him, saying, "I hope they will be ashamed."
On the same day, Representative Ahn wrote on his social media, "I heard that members of the Democratic Party of Korea have accused me," and "I have the utmost dignity."
The Democratic Party of Korea stated that Rep. Ahn had mentioned the Busan attack on Lee Jae-myung, the party's chairman, and said, "I compare it to Trump, who was shot."
In response, Rep. Ahn said, "Representative Lee threatened Choi Sang-mok, the acting president, to take care of himself.
He added, "It is unreasonable that someone who is not a member of the judiciary in a liberal democratic country and has no such authority would say that Acting President Choi Kwon should be arrested.
He continued, "When Lee said he wanted to hold a debate on artificial intelligence (AI), he suddenly said he would invite scholars from abroad to hold a debate.
"I strongly criticized what he did," he said, adding, "I am happy to accept the debate that was proposed last time. Let's not lie to the people and do this in an honest and above board manner."
Rep. Ahn said, "If Representative Lee cannot take responsibility for the words he utters, how can he take responsibility for Korea?"
"I hope you will respond (to the debate)," he said.
