China's outward non-financial direct investment up 9.1% year-on-year in January-February: Chinese report

According to China's Ministry of Commerce, China's outward non-financial direct investment in January and February this year was $22.97 billion (about 3.4 trillion yen), up 9.1% from the same period last year.
Of this, non-financial direct investment by Chinese companies in Belt and Road co-construction countries increased by 17.6% to $5.52 billion (approximately 822.3 billion yen).
During the same period, China's overseas contract construction sales fell 5.6% to $18.34 billion (approximately 2.7 trillion yen), while the value of new contracts increased 28.7% to $35.34 billion (approximately 5.3 trillion yen).
