Seoul subway line 2 derails at Shindorim station...service resumed 9 hours later

Outer loop train service has resumed after being suspended following a train derailment at Sindorim Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 on the 23rd.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Transportation Corporation, the incident occurred around 7:50 a.m. on the same day on subway line 2 in Guro-gu, Seoul.
A train leaving Sindorim Station derailed. The train was on its way to Sindorim Station to pick up passengers, but there were no passengers on board at the time of the accident.
Due to the accident, outbound train service on Line 2 between Hong Daebu Station and Seoul University Station was temporarily suspended.
The Seoul Metropolitan Transportation Corporation completed restoration work and resumed train service around 5:30 p.m., about nine hours later.
