The Ministry of Finance of China has released the income and expenditure situation of the national general public budget (equivalent to general account) for January and February of this year. According to the released information, the national general public budget revenue for January and February of this year was 1.1% lower than the same period last year.
The total amounted to 4,385.6 billion yen (approximately 91 trillion yen), down 1.6% year on year. National tax revenues were down 3.9% year on year to 3,634.9 billion yen (approximately 75 trillion yen), and non-tax revenues increased 11.0% year on year to 750.7 billion yen.
Divided into central and local governments, the general public budget revenue of the central government fell 5.8% to 1.9499 trillion yen (about 40 trillion yen). The general public budget revenue of the local governments increased 2.0% to 1.9499 trillion yen (about 40 trillion yen).
