China's Yangtze River Delta trade market continues to grow: Chinese report

This year, the international competitiveness of high-tech products in China's Yangtze River Delta region has been steadily strengthened, and the diversification of trade markets has become increasingly evident. The region's import and export volumes have reached an all-time high.
According to the latest data from the customs office, the total import and export volume of the Yangtze River Delta region in January and February this year reached 2.5 trillion former (about 51.8 trillion yen), accounting for 38% of the total import and export volume in the whole country.
In terms of export items, exports of integrated circuits increased 14.8% year-on-year to 75.77 billion yen (approximately 1.6 trillion yen), while high-tech products increased 6.7% year-on-year to 347.67 billion yen.
