The episode depicts how Suzy-jung learns that her ex-wife, Hyosung (Secret) (Bang Hyo-jung), made a deal with her for her own benefit. Suzy-jung says, "If you fail, it's not like you just quit the company. You're also going to lose your assets.
So you gave up your name and everything and decided to go abroad? Why did you accept such unreasonable conditions?" Juyeon replied, "I wanted to let Suzy do what she wanted.
"Whether you leave the company or stay, it's up to you, Suzy-jung." Suzy-jung sighed and said, "I didn't try hard to keep my seat, so why should I blame you?" Juyeon replied,
"I know. It was for my sake. It was to help me get recognized by my grandmother and to make sure all my hard work up to that point was not in vain," he confided.
Suzy wonders, "Did you make that choice knowing that?" Juyeon responds, "It's okay to give up everything.
If I was to be greedy for something, it had to be for Suzy. That was all I wanted. I wanted to make sure that the efforts that Suzy has made were recognized.
Because there is. I know how much you care about that. I know what it feels like to want to be recognized. And the person I really want to be recognized by is right in front of me right now."
I confessed.
