Kim Soo Hyun was originally scheduled to participate in a fan meeting at the ‘Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival’ event organised by 7-Eleven in Taiwan on the 30th. The fan meeting was organised by 7-Eleven Taiwan to promote their brand model Kim Soo Hyun, and Kim Soo Hyun was scheduled to appear on stage for 40 minutes on the last day of the event.

However, on the 10th of this month, Kim Soo Hyun was surrounded by allegations that he had been dating the late Kim Sae-ron since she was a minor, and the advertising industry in Korea continued to cut him off, and there was interest in whether he would force through his planned fan meeting in Taiwan or accept the penalty fee and cancel the event.

In particular, if he participated in this fan meeting, it would be his first public appearance since the recent series of allegations related to Kim Sae-ron, and it attracted a lot of interest from home and abroad, but the fan meeting was eventually cancelled.

Kim Soo Hyun's fee for the event was reported to be approximately 400,000 US dollars, but he did not participate and had to pay a penalty amounting to 30 million Taiwan dollars.
