[Official] BTS' J-HOPE and SUGA donate 10 million yen each to help with wildfire relief efforts
J-HOPE and SUGA of the group "BTS" practiced a good deed to help with the recovery from the forest fire damage in Korea. On the 27th, management office BIGHIT
MUSIC announced that J-Hope and Suga made a donation to help with the forest fire victims in North Gyeongsang Province, South Gyeongsang Province, and Ulsan.
Through their management office, they said, "We hope that the long-running forest fires will come to an end as soon as possible. We hope that those who have lost their homes and are experiencing hardship, and all those working to put out the fires, will be able to return to normal as soon as possible.
"I hope that everyone can return to a peaceful daily life. I hope that this donation will provide some comfort and hope," J-Hope said. J-Hope has donated 100 million won (approximately 10 million yen) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
The donation will be used for emergency disaster relief, post-disaster recovery of local communities, and support for vulnerable groups. Following his support for the 2023 flood victims, J-HOPE will also support the families of those killed in the passenger plane crash.
Suga has donated 100 million won to the Korean Red Cross. The donation will be used to provide food, drink, and other daily necessities to residents affected by the forest fires.
It's a plan. Suga also donated 100 million won during the forest fires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk and Samcheok, Gangwon Province in 2022.
Meanwhile, their group, BTS, has been carrying out various good deeds since 2017.
Together with T MUSIC, they are running the "LOVE MYSELF" campaign to convey the value of loving yourself and the message of eradicating violence.
RMY is also practicing sharing for vulnerable children and adolescents.
